Potato and Broccoli Soup

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bag (16 oz.) frozen broccoli
  • 1 cup ham, diced
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

  • 2 pounds potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bag (16 oz.) frozen broccoli
  • 1 cup ham, diced
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
Instructions
  1. Bring water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook for 4 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a ziplock bag and freeze.
Recipe Notes

Write on bag:   Cook on low for 6 hours. During last 30 minutes, puree/mash some of the potatoes and broccoli.  Add 2 cups Half & Half and 1 cup cheddar cheese and cook 30 minutes.
