Ingredients
  • 1.5 pounds round steak, cubed
  • 4 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, quartered
  • 3/4 cup pearl barley
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 1/2. tsp. basil
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 cups beef broth

Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients, place in a ziplock bag, and freeze.
Recipe Notes

Write on bag:  Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
